Annapurna and I are obviously thrilled, excited and super happy... but as you can imagine, despite guidance from our parents, family and friends occassionally we are clueless . I know she is just over 2 weeks old, but she hasn't yet started playing with me yet (she only plays with her mom these days). Between feeds, poop and massages, my lil princess spends of most of her time sleeping. . Wait till she gets a lil older and then she and I will ...... you just have to wait and see . We have posted a few of her pictures on the net recently. But in the coming day we will start a new album on this site, just for her. Stay tuned..


Lastly, Annapurna and I would like you to know that we are grateful to you for your blessings and well wishes for Shivani. She is lucky to have you as family and friends. We also take comfort in knowing that we have your support and guidance in our new roles as parents.

Oh yeah! I can't believe my kid brother is a grown up man, now! The event, the weeks leading up to and after the event were a blast of a time. Those 3+ weeks were amazing. Loads of fun, drama, and excitment and did I mention fun.



]]> Sun, 19 Aug 2007 15:57:05 GMT <![CDATA[Whitewater Rafting - June 24th, 07]]> http://gadepalli.com/index.html?cq=1&p=24 in Upstate New York, where our party of adventurers climbed a 5000 ft. mountain on Saturday afternoon and on the Sunday the crew blew past a 22 mile long Whitewater rafting trip on Hudson River Gorge.

This was Annapurna and my first whitewater rafting tri, and boy it was so much fun. For someone who doesn't know swimming, I actually climbed a 20 ft high rock and jumped into the river where it was said to be 60 ft deep. (Its the life jacket man!)

Hopefully we will make another dash for some more rafting sometime soon!

The function was attended by the friends and family of the bride and groom. Some of the pictures from the function are posted on Snapfish


The wedding will be held on July 8th in Hyderabad. Venue and other details to follow.

Life has changed a lot in last 5 years but what hasn't changed, is her love for me. Sure, she still yells at me when I don't make any plans for her bithrday, our anniversary etc.. Or when I don't follow through on my promises (quit smoking for example), but by God, it is absolutely amazing how much she still loves me, and how she tolerates a bum like me.

I am a lucky idiot, who got blessed with a life-partner like hers!

]]> Mon, 05 Mar 2007 02:25:56 GMT <![CDATA[It's a boy!!]]> http://gadepalli.com/index.html?cq=1&p=14 My nephew, Aidan Arjun Gadepalli was born to Samir and Suzanne Gadepalli on a Saturday in late January of 2007 in Morristown Memorial Hospital, Morrsitown, New Jersey, USofA.

He weighs 8-lbs and 13 1/2 inches tall and has a thick head of hair. Like his father, he sleeps a lot.
